Excellent and so very well written, Milissa… I just love how you displayed this post. It speaks to me, and I think it will help others possibly start on this journey to evaluate options for getting started and progressing through the affiliate marketing maze of productivity. I believe that for those who create money-making products and programs promising life-altering income, their promotions are so slick and believable that you think that that one product or program will propel you from rags to riches. Until it doesn’t, you will be presented with the next miracle product. It’s an endless cycle. This is why I genuinely believe that in today’s market, DIY is just not an option. There are so many shiny new objects paraded in front of you that there is no hope that you could remain steadfast in your mission without help from someone like Dean, who will consistently tell you not to doubt yourself and stay on course. It’s imperative to have someone in your corner to succeed. I love this post… I always enjoy reading your content.

It seems like a person could learn most of what they need to know about affiliate marketing by researching free sources. But yeah that would take a lot of time, and you’d need to be able to piece together a whole lot of different bits of information, and that seems particularly daunting without someone to guide you through it.

Having a mentor and guide is certainly what I need.

I am one of those people who needs a mentor or at least someone to call, email, etc, when I get stuck. Choosing a mentor or going it alone is like deciding whether to navigate the wilderness on your own or join a guided tour. Both paths have their pros and cons, but if you are directionally challenged like me, a guided tour might be the way to go lol. In the world of affiliate marketing, I’ve found that investing in courses and mentorship programs has not only helped me gain valuable insights and avoid common pitfalls but it has also given me an opportunity to leverage someone’s expertise, skip a lot of the trial and error and pain the goes with that, and have someone to show me their proven path, getting there faster and easier. I still have my challenges but knowing I have someone to talk to and help me troubleshoot makes the journey a lot easier!

I chose #2! I wanted to succeed quickly, and watching my husband’s progress, who started this before me, I knew we needed a guide ASAP. What I didn’t expect was the friendship I would find. That has been an invaluable piece of the puzzle I didn’t even know was a piece!

Door 2 has been the wise choice I have made. Specifically choosing Dean as a mentor. I think it’s really important to make sure you have a mentor that works for you and his support is world class. I literally couldn’t ask for more, and if I did I’m sure he’d try and help with that too!

As far as affiliate marketing choices go, I’m sticking with Dean, at the moment, while expanding my You Tube Channel. Next week I have my very first you tube channel interview. Setting up the tech to do this is what I am working on and trying out this weekend.

I chose door #2! It has proven to be a good choice for me and I am so glad I am not alone in this venture. I have a mentor, access to material and promotions, access to training and support from other in the community. Yes, door 2 for me! Nice job detailing the pros and cons of both options…spot on!
